Questions

Where do the satellite images come from?

From Sentinel-2 cloudless by EOX, a cloud-free mosaic of the whole world built from the European Copernicus Sentinel-2 satellites.

Is there a hard mode?

Yes. In hard mode you cannot zoom back in and neighbour tags are hidden. Hard-mode wins show a star in the shared result.

Is Globedle free?

Yes. All four games are free to play in any web browser, with no account or download needed.

When does a new puzzle come out?

Each game has one new daily puzzle, and it unlocks at midnight in your own time zone. Everyone in the world gets the same country on the same day.

Can I play more than once a day?

Yes. Every game has a practice mode with unlimited random rounds, and practice rounds earn XP towards levels.
